Near Kavala city, northern Greece.
On the 11th of August 2018, I, my brother with his family and a couple of friends went 30 km outside the city in order to capture some Perseids along with the Milky Way. Unfortunately, we got unlucky as the sky quickly got covered with clouds. However and even though I did not capture any meteors I was able to get a couple of shots of the Milky Way through some moments of clear sky. This is a blend of three images. One image is for the Milky Way and the sky, one image is me standing over the rock and one image that is made up of 6 stacked captures for the rest of the picture. I would love the shot of the Milky Way I've used was much cleaner but I did not have the time to change the settings of my camera as the clouds were already intruding into my frame.
