Description
Note: The Fine Art America watermark where is present will not appear on the final print.
The man-made waterfall at the Vintgar Gorge in Slovenia. The gorge is 1.6km long and it was discovered by Jakob Žumer, the Major of Gorje, and the cartographer and photographer Benedikt Lergetporer in 1891.
The Vintgar gorge also includes the two man-made sights that I have captured in this picture. The single-arch stone bridge of the Bohinj railway, constructed in 1906, which crosses the gorge 33.5 m above the trail, and the dam from which the water is routed to the small Vintgar hydroelectric power plant under the Šum waterfall.
High-quality imagery by Elias Pentikis with his own hand-written signature provided with a 30-day money-back guarantee from Fine Art America. Canvas prints, metal prints, fine art paper prints, framed prints.
