This image was captured on August 17, 2014, near Keramoti village in northern Greece. It was a real difficult attempt to capture the trails of the stars. First, the weather that night was really humid. When the camera stopped taking shots it was covered with a great amount of moisture and the lens was blurred as well. Second, the specific territory where this shipwreck had been located is full of mosquitoes. You just can't imagine how it was like. My back at that time got full of red marks. :D I had some anti-mosquito spray to cover the nude parts of my body, legs-hands-neck, but as my t-shirt 's garment was thin they "stabbed me in the back".
Anyway, I believe that beyond the difficulties and the light pollution of the nearby settlement I managed to create something beautiful.
Nowadays the fishing boat has been removed. In 2019 finally, there was given a solution by the authorities and all the sunken boats around were collected for scrap.
High-quality imagery by Elias Pentikis provided with a 30-day money-back guarantee from Fine Art America. Canvas prints, metal prints, fine art paper prints, framed prints.
